Watch David Attenborough Narrate Cinematic Introduction to Adele’s “Hello” Video
Adele‘s “Hello” is already the second-fastest music video to reach 100 million views on YouTube, and yet it just became a bit more epic.
The Xavier Dolan-directed video got even more cinematic, thanks to some pre-song narration from Sir David Attenborough. While appearing on BBC Radio 1 to discuss his new docuseriesThe Hunt with host Greg James, Attenborough told viewers what exactly is going on in the first 90 seconds of the music video.
“Adele would be crushed with me,” he first protested before picking up the script. “Shall I give it a go?”
“Money certainly hasn’t changed her,” Attenborough said of Adele’s on-screen persona. “She, like all pop stars, needs to hunt to survive.”
Inevitably, the script pokes fun at the video’s use of a flip phone. “But there’s a problem. The signal is poor, and she hasn’t upgraded her handset since 1999. Hashtag flip phone. She goes inside to seek shelter from the elements and find a landline.”

Sir David Attenborough has confirmed that he won't be returning to Instagram.
The 94-year-old broadcaster and natural historian joined the platform in September – and amassed a million followers in a record time. He shared a series of posts through September and October, but @davidattenborough's bio now reads: "Account no longer active."

"I'm so old I can’t get used to all these new media but I was persuaded to do so in order to do a message about conservation," he said. "So for a limited period of time I contributed to Instagram but I'm off now. I'm not on it anymore and I don't intend to go back."
Continuing, Attenborough revealed that he has "enough problems" replying to the old-fashioned snail mail he receives. "I get 70 letters a day! I do my very best [to respond to each letter]," he added. "Sometimes people, mercifully, don’t actually put their address on because people are so unaccustomed to sending letters. If you wouldn't mind including a self-addressed stamped envelope I'd be delighted to reply!"
Attenborough has recently been voted the U.K.'s favorite voice – and who could disagree? If you're in the m
