    Why online retailers like Jabong, Yepme, Myntra are roping in Bollywood stars as brand ambassadors

    From watches to sportswear to jewellery to apparel to even soap, the connection between Bollywood and fashion goes back a long way — perhaps more than 80 years back Leela Chitnis became beauty brand Lux’s first brand ambassador (followed by the likes of Madhubala, Nargis and Waheeda Rahman).

    Farhan Akhtar is an Indian director, actor, producer, singer, screenwriter, and television host. He is primarily known for his work in Bollywood. He hails from a family of veterans and is the son of film actress and screenwriter Honey Irani and poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar. He has an elder sister, renowned filmmaker Zoya Akhtar.
